I’ll be your huckleberry with this one.

I was Tune Surfing this afternoon and I came across this amazing rock your face off track.

First of all- the bands name- J RODDY WALSTON AND THE BUSINESS is amazing. They probably drink whiskey out of cups.

I DARE you to drive down the street with this on and NOT have it loud. (I’m wondering how most people enjoy their music these days…alone inside headphones?  in the car, windows rolled down in your 5.0? at home dancing in underpants? Me, all of the above. :))

There, now we can be friends.

J Roddy Walston and the Business-Brave Man’s Death

THE WHOLE ALBUM IS ON ITUNES- SO GO GET IT DUHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

It’s a face melter in the best way possible.

with love and cookies-

…photo by ME MONSTAH of course.

I found this little diddy in the great bloggearth, and I have been cranking it in my auto ever since.  I like this sound- dude with guitar…but wait??!! what’s that?  Some sort of oingy-boingy electronicy delicious sound?  Yes please…not too much mind you- but just right.

I hope you like it, too.  I was once lucky enough to live in SF- and I miss it!!!  WHY did I leave?? Not sure, but I get to go back with songs like this:

Barbara- San Francisco

SIDE NOTE! I also have a song by Steve Tannen, “San Francisco” (remember back when he wasn’t the Weepies and they weren’t putting out sub-par albums?)

It’s on O_otunes….It’s pretty good if you like the sing-y dude with guitar stuff.  I would share it, but mine is password ‘tected, so yeah.  99 cents buggars!

xx!

2 DELICIOUS SNACKTRACKS

The first is a light and fluffy remix of a Tokyo Police Club track!  Ra Ra Riot adds a delicate, plucky guitar that I can’t get enough of.  I have decided that this, THIS! is my most favoritist sound in all the land.

Watashi-wa Juno-Desu!

Juno (Ra Ra Riot and Andrew Maury Remix)-Tokyo Police Club

Second hails to us from a little gal from ENG-A-LAND.  There is a sample of a track that immediately sends me to the movie ‘Stand By Me” when they are walking home after finding the you-know-what and you can see the lake in the background.  What a great flick.  HOWEVER.  Do not compare this Miss to other Britsy’s out there, this gal pal has something demure and special about her.  Enjoy!

Missing- Eliza Dolittle

This is my FIRST Tsrurururururururururururuuuuuuuuuuu post, so I hope I did all-a-ya-lls okay!

Thank you all for welcoming me into your Fammer-ree!  Whee!
