Profound Broccoli: local finds

photography by purpleplaid

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the local music scene in Toronto and it got me to thinking that while I do check out a lot of bands, I never go blindly searching for new ones. I either go off recommendations from friends, promoters or buzz. So this week I decided to take the Wheel o’ Bandcamp through the Toronto tag. As always, these are bands that I know nothing about, nor have every heard before going fishing. There’s a great mix here that I think everyone could find something they dig, from electro to folk (yes *gasp* I included a folk band…okay the banjo playing really sold me on them). Short and sweet this week so you can dive right into the music, enjoy!
