Why Not Come HangOut?

With only 86 days away, and only price level 2 tickets left, the second year of the HangOut Music Festival seems to be well on its way to another successful year.  The 3-day musical event takes place in Gulf Shores, Alabama where bikini and shirtless clad girls and boys can reap the benefits of being on the beach next to the beautiful water.  Beach and great tunes always calls for a great time.  Imagine this: Wake up, hit the white sandy beach with cooler in tow, get some Vitamin D on your mug while relaxing under the cloudless sky and then head to see some of your favorite bands perform your favorite songs?  That sounds like a dream come true!

Although last year had well-known artists such as Trey Anastasio, OK GO and Ben Harper showcase their talents; this year’s lineup is definitely a lot more impressive.  Amidst the salty air, amazing musicians such as Paul Simon, Widespread Panic, The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar and Minus the Bear will give fans a well-worth $174 spent.  Of course I won’t leave out my all time favorites, My Morning Jacket and Girl Talk.

Another plus about being located on the beach is that you won’t be waking up in a pool of sweat (well you can if that sort of thing floats your boat), but most music fans will be shacking up in air conditioned accommodations.  There are hundreds of rental options that range from hotels and penthouses to 2-story homes right on the beach.

Let’s not forget that the money you’ll be spending in Gulf Shores is pumping life back into the businesses that were affected by the BP oil spill.  It’ll be your good deed for the weekend!

So, what are you waiting for?

Can’t you hear the seagulls already?  What about the relaxing sounds of undulating waves with the Girl Talk mosh pit in the background?

Grab your sunscreen and visors music-lovers!   Go HangOut, get some sun and help local businesses!

Peace & Carrots,
