TSURURADIO Loves… The Crafty Cotillion!!!

Photography by me! WHEE!

Howdy and howdy and welcome Monday to you! How was your weekend? Full of fantasmo I hope? Our weekend was spent hanging out with our crafty friends and many fans of the independent arts & handmade movement at Viewfinder where, not only was I Baby’s bag boy & seat-warmer, but also the Bringer Of The Musics!

And let me tell you, my friends, the music was broughten!!!

We sang, we danced — well, okay, I danced — and we sold some metallic leather awesomeness, WOOOT!

All-in-all, it was a fun weekend! I even got a wonderful piece of art from Rob Jones for my mom!

*no pics – don’t want to spoil the surprise*

Even though there was one booth that would rather burn a few bridges, cut out the show early, and go nap instead of selling their variously coloured maps, everyone else had the sense of community and awesomeness to stick around, stick together, and just enjoy the show!

Which brings me to the reason for today’s pleasin’, The Crafty Cotillion… Not only are they a bunch of hotties:

But, when Tiny Canary decided not to put on a show this year, a very important show for many of the local alternative & independent crafters & artisans, it was the Cotillion which spent a ridiculous amount of hours over the next few months trying to get a band spanking new show off the ground.

AND, beyond that even, not only have they embraced TsuruBride into their ranks, but they apparently have been drinking too much PBR and talking about vaginas for too long because they even let my nekkid photographin’ perverted ass in their group. Even letting me kick off our latest endeavour, Lo-Fi Boudoir by tsurufoto via a coupon in their swag bags!

Granted, it comes with two caveats: 1) I’m their resident free & on-call photographer for all events and 2) they are allowed to bust my balls about photographin’ naked women in the woods at their leisure.

NOTE: They really really take advantage of Caveat No. 2

With that I say thank you! Thank you guys for being absolutely fucking awesome. Love you guys!!! So, in my own little way to say thanks and since everyone seemed to enjoy the tunes this weekend, I randomly selected a shit ton to upload and share with you guys today!

So…. How about we start this short holiday week off right then, eh?  EH?  Eh!  Because, as we just was saying….

    “Every Little Thing” is on Jeff Lynne’s 1990 LP, Armchair Theatre. It is not the Traveling Wilburys.

    @Everyone — thanks so much!

    @ohmwrecker — Tis true, but it was during the Wilbury Era where they were all working together, like with Tom Petty’s album, George Harrison’s, or Orbison’s, lots of Jeff Lynne productions, etc.

    Years ago, I compiled a huge “wilbury” best of, containing lots of wilbury and non-wilbury songs, this was one. I just never changed the name back to Jeff Lynne.

    After posting this song here 2 or maybe 3 other times, you are the first to call me out.
