Prints Available (gotta pay the bills, right?)
Happy cool, rainy, & wormy (seriously, they are all over the place) Friday!!! No worries, my friends, neither rain nor worms will stop us from sharing all the exciting news and a pretty sweet ass mixtape! Can I get a “woot woot”?
There you go…. Lots of exciting stuff happening in Tsuru Land (where your dreams CAN come true) that I just have to share. First up is my baby, the un-imitatable TsuruBride. She’s been accepted into the CTA Craftstravaganza (are there any words out there you can’t add “craft” too?) at the Columbus Torah Academy!
So, on Sunday April 26 from 2:30 – 8pm come by and say “Hi!” (I’ll be there too, acting as bag-boy and bathroom-time space-filler) and buy some sweet metallic leather accessories for you and your loved ones (or people you hate, I don’t know, you may be weird like that)! Not only will it be awesome good times, you’ll be supporting some great local do-it-yourself designers AND helping support the teachers & students of the Columbus Torah Academy! And that’s pretty sweet.
Next up is some Tsuru Tsycling news!
Sponsorship for my 100 mile ride for the American Diabetes Association’s TOUR De CURE is up to over $400 thanks to you, Our Society, our Facebook friends, and generous folks who know me in real life!!! DAMN! Keep it going guys! Like I said, it’s a great cause (diabetes sucks) and I’m more than happy to put these tree-trunk-meets-chicken-legs to good use. So, let’s keep the support via a few bucks or so going by clicking…
Thank you again soooo much! So, how’s the training go, you ask? Well! Been riding my ass off, but tomorrow is the first real test as I’m attempting a 100 miles at the Columbus Outdoor Pursuits’ 37th Woodstock! They are having 30, 55, and 100 mile rides on relatively flat roads tomorrow, so now’s as good a time as any to see how ye ol’ legs will fair, right? Any of you local readers/riders who feel like shaking the winter off your legs on your bike, grab $4, come on out, and ride with us! WOOT! I’ll be riding with the Westerville Bicycle Club and they plan on heading out at 8am, so get your butt up and get on your bike!
I’ll keep my phone on me and try to get a few mobile photos of my demise to put up on FACEBOOK so you can follow along through the day of my attempt. Man, to be honest, I’m a little nervous. But, it’s all good… I’ll just do my best, right? Try to kick a little ass and take down a name or two.
So, as I’ll be a busy little beaver this weekend, I felt inclined to get a little mixtape together for you! As you may have noticed, Cracker’s “Teen Angst (What The World Needs Now)” has been overwhelming me lately, compelling me, pushing me, to get it’s ass on a mixtape. Who am I not to oblige my musical obsessions? No one, that’s who. So, starting there, we go along a path of old & new, discussed & not, and we even introduce a brand-spanking new artist, Saydi! Not even 16 years old, I have a feeling we’ll be hearing much more of her in the coming years…
It’s a fun 80 minute ride that I hope you enjoy! So have a great weekend everyone, we’ll see if we can get a little vinyl rip up on Sunday, but that’s assuming a) I’m alive and b) I’m able to actually get out of bed. Ha! Until then, sit back, relax, and get ready as…
