I’m coming to take you home

Well I was going to keep going with the “Presents…” posts this week, but an album came up that completely kicked my sorry ass. I really don’t know the best way to describe this one, it’s Fleet Foxes album, Ragged Wood, and it’s got this old-timey home-style psych-folk meets some Neil Young sounds (the acoustic Young, not the “keep on rockin’ in the free world Young) with some Shins sun & harmonies meets blah, blah, blah with tons of reverb… I don’t know, I’d be talking out my ass to try to get this one described right. It’s one of those things you just got to grab and hear…. In the end, it’s just beautiful.

Listen to these in order, then go get the album, put your good headphones on, and put this gem on non-stop repeat for about a day or so, yeah, beautiful…
