I miss my sister, miss my father, miss my dog, and my home

Well, my travels in India continue, but my the music keeps going and so shall I, right? So, from my hotel in Bangalore, as I look out over the city, after some extremely long days of working and traveling around the south of India, I sit here, alone (as always, it’s amazing how the heavy the isolation can get even though you are surrounded by millions of people and usually in the presence of a vendors and representatives). Yet blaring MGMT though my headphones, a band that’s probably being hyped like crazy or hated like crazy… you can see it going both ways, infectious, fun, dance, and, is that, yeah, is that a little bit of ABBA mixed with a bit o’ my beloved indie-progĀ© I hear? Sweet fuck.

Keeping me company while my loved one and family sleep half a world away… Enjoy!

MGMT – Time To Pretend

I miss the comfort of my brother and the weight of the world
I miss my sister, miss my father, miss my dog, and my home

MGMT – Weekend Wars
MGMT – The Youth
MGMT – Electric Feel

Go show MGMT (is that short for Management?) all your love here, here, and here, now!

Been listening to “The Youth” and “Time to Pretend” like crazy for a while now. Delighted to have two new songs to wear out!
