I want the whole sea for you and me

Got a sweet little pop album to share with you today, the Headlights and their new album Some Racing, Some Stopping. It’s got a decidedly Phil Spector wall-of-sound and a bit of Camera Obscura thing going on, it’s hard to go wrong there… What is it about bells that takes pop and amps up the sweetness factor to about 11?

I have no idea, but I love it… Enjoy!

Headlights – 01 Get Your Head Around It
Headlights – 02 Cherry Tulips

I can’t sleep in the silence
it will be pitch black in my room
I need some lights
on some distraction
so I won’t worry
and in the middle of the night
when I have drifted off in sleep
I see 1000 cherry tuplips wind up
all on my street
I want the sea
I want the whole sea
for you and me
for you and me…

Headlights – 03 Market Girl
Headlights – 04 On April 2
Headlights – 05 School Boys

Go show the Headlights all your sweet, sugar sweet love here, here, and here now!

Their previous album was very good as well, to say the least. This is another certified hit in my book!
